...I found this thing 10-12 years ago sitting on a trailer in some guy's driveway, next to a job we were doing...
Chopped sedan, roof moved forward, slanted posts, sectioned, roundy-rounder front clip, Chevelle rear suspension, front fenders were split and pulled out to cover the wide front track,...
It changed hands several times before I spotted it again in a junk yard a few years later, then, disappeared again...

I had the chance to buy it for $300 while it was at the junk yard, but passed...it is REALLY rough! The whole car was tack-welded together, with an arc welder!...fenders, hood, trunk, all tacked shut.

So, you've decided to buy it and need to sell that '38 to me to help finance it right?? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The right rear quarter panel taillight section had a '53-'54 Olds qtr. section tacked on, but, the left side was still original Ford,...here you see where someone slapped another Ford section back on the right rear...

I dunno Chad, this thing is pretty roached! When I saw it originally on the trailer, there was a '46-'47 Olds grille, and a pair of wild bubble skirts inside,...that's all long gone.
The guy who has it now says he realized it's "a little more work than he's capable of"!...didn't really have a price for it, I think he was fishin'.
Here's the front suspension set-up:
