i'm planning on staying in a hotel so i don't have to make to make the trip back and forth to seattle. i see that the site has some hotel listings.
has anyone made reservations yet? where are you staying? what is closest to the swiss?

I hate to see a man blow good beer money on a motel room... If you're dead set on it fine... But if you need a place to stay, you're welcome at my place.

ah, a most generous offer!! i will politely decline though. gonna have the girlfriend with me and her new puppy. i wouldn't wish that on anyone!!
as far as beer money goes, i'm saving my nickels as we speak, so shouldn't be a problem. stop by the trunk of my poncho and i'll be more than happy to share with ya.

Any Hambers up for beer in Seattle on thursday night?
Somewhere near downtown? Eastlake?
A local rod shop owner and I are leaving Montana on wednesday night after work and I'm buying the first cold pitcher I can find in Seattle on thursday. Hell I may pull over in Bellevue and make an ass out of myself before I even get into Seattle.
We are supposed to show ourselves at close enough engineering sometime thursday afternoon and I plan to be good and lit before I leave there.

A bunch of us canadiens are staying at the motel 6 in fife, it is close and fairly cheep. Hope to see more hambers there.
Theirs quite a few hotels at the exit just east of the Swiss along I-5 about 1 mile away. We stayed there last year and they had rooms available on fri. I couldn't plan ahead and was afraid their might not be rooms, but had no problem. Definately go to the party at the Swiss on Friday nite, It was a Blast.

Last year we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot it is walking distance to the Swiss and not in the shitty looking neighbor hoods by the Motel 6 and such. We had a reservation at one of the motels down I-5 but for like $10 or $20 bucks more a night it worth staying at a nicer place and not worrying about your stuff in the parking lot. IMHO.
