Here's what I did today, if anyone's interested. fresh paint, with my first attempt at scallops. Doesn't show too good in the pictures, but the scallops are silver with a HOK oriental blue fade.

Not wet, but still sticky! I wish I had a better camera, the fade on the scallops is pretty cool...

The original plan was to do the fade with the airbrush, but last time I used it, I must not have gotten it clean enough, the needle was stuck. I wound up doing the fade with a 50's vintage Sears siphon feed gun, with the fan turned all the way down. How's that for traditional?
