Just a little about myself.:D
I have been into hot rods and customs since I was a child. they are the most beautiful things that show the builders whole life. how detaled, or not, perfect down to the nuts and bolts, or not. All your joys, and dreams of things to come are seen in a build. As for me I have just started what I hope is the first in a long line of rods.
My first car was a 79 camaro. Beat up and dragin under the hood. I rebuilt the 350 back to a little meaner than stock, did a little novice body work and kept it till my dad said NO MORE V8's FOR YOU!!!!
Learned to work on motors when I was little. My father was a diesel mechanic and I was very proud of him. I rebuilt my first motor at age 7. an old 220 cummins in an old gallion grader. After that i just couldn't get enough. now i want to learn to build more than just a high power drive train. I have very little knowledge of frame work, front ends, suspension systems. I have lots of questions about simple things to most hotrodders, but are not so simple to myself. That's why I have come to this forum to better myself in the pursute of these goals, and to be able to say that I built "that" with my own hands. To see that I can do more that one thing in the grand scheame of things.
Sorry to go off on a tangent like that but this is an introduction after all.
thanks for reading and I hope to be active here

gotta love anyone with the "sight" as they say. to see beauty in a pile of degraded rotting hulks of despair. the things we call our cars/our lifes. our embodiment of years, perhaps a lifetime of toil, and blood sweat and perhaps tears. to see not just a piece of material, but to see what appears to be a fender, floorpan, or firewall. and to visit the graveyards of motor vehicles from days long past and see the one piece that may complete our shrine to our selves, the final piece to the age old puzzle.am i rambling again? sorry, and welcome:D
