"RADICALLY HAND BUILT CUSTOM AT A COST OF $64,000 IN 1980"??? WASN'T THAT ALSO ABOUT THE TIME THAT COCAINE BECAME READILY AVAILABLE TO WALL STREET GUYS? MAYBE IT'S JUST ME, BUT I DON'T GET IT. STILL, IT IS INTERESTING TO LOOK AT.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2484851400&rd=1&sspage name=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Hey that thing is in Chippewa Falls Wi. Thats only 15 miles from Shift's. I wonder if Dave knows about it. Maybe he would want it now that Bleed got his old ride.

Damn ...I must be a little sick...because in a twisted sort of way I like it....change the top to actually flow a little and redo the whole interior.....a set of cool wheels ..wonder what his reserve is?

i'm with brewsir here. i'm thinking bubble top, rework the rear to get rid of the connie kit change the wheels and interior and you got an interesting ride. i've always had a sick sense so maybe its just coming out. personally i think the roof and the connie kit are what ruin it. the roof doesn't flow with the body and there's not much i do like a connie kit on. i don't think it's nearly as pimpalicious as it's being portrayed. now i do know of a late 70s tbird that can fill your bill for that back home in alabama. cantilever top. gold everything(grill, trim, etc) candy apple red with a panel job with white vinyl top. white leather w/ crush red velvet insert bisquit tuft interior. trus, hydros, the works and it did actually belong to a pimp in it's heyday. haven't seen it in years but i'm sure it's still there. i did some stereo work in it in the late 80s and drove it around for an afternoon. probably one of the funniest days of my life. nothing like an 18 year old rollin that thing around.ha...ken....

It's overpriced at $960.00

Anyways, for the original build cost of $64000, or whatever, they should have been able to reskin those original seats and toss in a custom steering wheel!

It's the right era and style to be someone's idea of an Olds based "Black Hawk" instead of the Pontiac Grand Prix based production Black Hawk.
In that way it's difficult to see it as a "Kustom," since it's not.

No, I didn't care for the Black Hawk either, too "glitzy" and ostentatious in a superfluous "bigger and longer is better" way.

Couldnt it be developed a little in the direction of the Monkey-mobile stylewise. Im thinking Cragars on slim whites, Blown engine, not too low stance, flakepaint all over... I know Im taking a chance here since sixties Barris stuff obviously is satan on here these days.. But I can see some very un-flatblack-49ford-with-red-rims-and-bad-flamejob-and-mexican-blanket-ish qualities here.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
