1961 Galaxie more door with a Y Block....This car belonged to a 95 year old Woman in town here who just passed on.Her daughter swore to me that the odometer is the actual milage of 66,000 miles! the body damage on the car was caused by the old lady running into things abut 10 years ago,before the DMV took her license...the car was always in a garage..the car fires right up and drives nicely....but of course I already have traded it for something else.....not the coolest thing in the world but its rare.. a 1962 Corvair Greenbrier van...yeah I know its just a step above a VW but its worth a little cash..

a friend of mine has a beat up old greenbriar,it's a gas to drive.we did a ring and valve job on it in my driveway,let me know if you need parts sources etc.-george

I had a 64 Greenbrier, be careful they do not make rear wheel bearings for them anymore, very scarce.

Judging by the looks of the interior, I would have to say that it's more likely to be 166,000 miles. Just my opinion, though. Looks like it could make a nice little cruiser or grocery getter.

Marcus, My Dad bought one of those new in 1961, black with a red interior. Just looked at the bill of sale I still have for it, $3,078.25 out the door. Later learned to drive on it, survived a headon crash with an ass hole in a Corvair. Helped the body shop install a new nose on it. Years later saw it on its way to the crusher.
