Here's another tip. This site is about TRADITIONAL hot rods and customs not RAT RODS. Please keep reading and observing. Not trying to be hard on ya' but that term rat is sometimes frowned upon here. Don't want you to get off on the wrong foot. There's folks that will come down on you a lot worse than me.Good luck and enjoy.

Understood Point being, the love of vehicles. We all don't have $10k for paint jobs, or for that nice college ed. that other may have. We work with what we got. So hate me, roast me, *%# me! There was a youngster on here having the same problems I had trying to drop/customize an f100. In addition, RAT RODS typically are custom. So if any of ya'll want to come "down" on me you are more than welcome. Hell i'll even give you my address

It ain't got anything to do with $10K paint jobs or a college education. What it has to do with is a certain respect for the thought and engineering and history of these vehicles we call traditional customs and hot rods. Just because something is in primer doesn't necessarily mean it's a "rat rod". Just as something in a slick $10K paint job isn't necessarily a "traditional" hot rod. We may be getting caught up in semantics here, maybe even a west coast/ east coast definition of the term rat rod. Anyway, good luck on the board and with whatever project you may currently be working on.
