Although I've been lurking for years here - great place for research, honestly!

I'm a neon artist that specializes in accurately restoring vintage automotive/motorcycle signage pulling from my hoard of obsolete glass from the '30s-'60s.

Helped my brother build a bad-ass chopped '51 Ford in the '90s. My build experience is pretty much limited to Panheads - although I recently picked up a Ford B cab and am gathering parts for that (ultimately) chopped-n-channeled to death project.

Also, I have hundreds of pictures from the Bowman collection that exists no longer. Few here undoubtedly are familiar with the 350+ cars (mainly Ford) that were there. If there is interest, I can start uploading them to post.

There used to be a guy in my neighborhood that did neon. He had a shop where he'd retail it and then the workshop out back.

I'd stop by there on my walk home from school and watch what he was working on that day. I was always amazed by the array of colors and the fact that you could change the color of a tube, by some degree, by changing the gas.

That's enough interest for me to start digging them out. The time will be worth it as I was there at least 20 times from 1990-2004.
