Hello from north central Maryland. I'm new to the H.A.M.B. but not the scene. I've got a 34' Ford p/u thats chopped down and hopped up. It's powered by a 409 chevy with 4 Holley 94's , T-10 4 speed and 9" posi rear. It rides on a stock boxed frame with a dropped I beam , split bones, 40 juice (plan ahead) brakes, and pie crust white walls. In the works are a 47 Ford sedan and a 41 Chevy business coupe (done gasser style). In a nut shell thats about it.

Welcome my fellow Marylander. Good to see more folks coming on board from the Free State. Hopefully we can help each other out, at least keep more aware of events, etc. in the area. Sounds like some neat stuff you have there. Where in N. Central Md. are you located? I'm not sure to think Frederick, Westminster, or more like Timonium or Baltimore......Don from Lothian ( So. Md.) Enjoy the H.A.M.B. It is addictive.

Welcome to the board from Parkville...

We should start to plan some type of get together in the spring...might be fun !!

That sounds like a pretty good idea, hotrod man 2000. I know you're up there in Parkville. I think that's near Putty Hill and the Mob Town Greaseball. I guess the real issue would be 1st getting the word out & then determining a "central location" that would be best for those who might attend. Seems it might be best to just announce an informal gathering perhaps @ a park or shopping center lot somewhere. A lot of events start to break loose when spring hits so that would also have to be considered. Give it some thought and maybe we could toss it out on the main board and see what kind of response we get...seek the input from others in the area.....Don.

Hey there, I'm in Thurmont it's between Frederick and the Pa. line. I'ts good to hear from like minded folks, not too many people into rods around here. Speaking of shows, drove the truck to the Jalopyrama in Glen Burnie this past November. Great time. If you haven't been you might want to check it out. Lee

The Jalopyrama is a GREAT event ! Hope they can continue there at the Armory. Seems I heard that it might not be available much longer for the show. That would be a shame. It just wouldn't be the same anywhere else. When you walk inside it's like you took a step back in time to 1959. hotrod man 2000 got the inside invite and had his "T" on the floor this year...Don.
