This T had Jersey plates but I think it was built in Mass. in the early '60's

The Don Lee Special. Ran on the Dry Lakes a few times, OFFY 220 powered, Cord front fenders. Won its class at Hershey two years ago.

It was a really good show. Alot more cars this year I thought. Some nice "newer" ones but I missed a few of the regulars. Many more vendors as well.

As always- great to see lots of HAMBers!

That modified really looked like one of those Real Hot Rods jobs. Either that, or the builder just had a damn good eye for detail. Notes on it:

* Indian motorcycle front tires (7.00x16)
* auto trans
* looked like a SBC through the hood louvers
* front and rear Houdaille shocks
* Quickchange rear end (or cover - I didnt investigate that close)
* Buick drums front and rear
* full tonneau cover
* and check out how long those rear radius rods are

excellent show. I got to see a ton of cars in person I'd only before seen here. Got to meet a bunch of good HAMBrs. Looks like they'll definitely have to find a bigger venue next year - the number of good cars outside the gate came close to half the number of cars inside.

Drooled over the other modified with the old off-road rear tires (anybody get good pics of that one?) and the hiboy pickup the guys from NYC brought in.

Dan, Sorry I didn't get a chance to met you there, we need H.A.M.B. ID tags I think. Here are two more shots of the modified.

The dropped seat and foot wells on this channeled 30-31 roadster looked like they would get you real close to the road.

I was there today too. Great time. Some pretty cool cars. How about that Tudor in the back. Man was that low.

Well if you saw Charlie (the owner) you'd realize the reason for the low seat - he's a BIG boy:)
