scared the wife on the drive in and back,
opened the new motor up on the freeway for the first time http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif,
wish it was on the strip, oh well next year for sure!
met up with both my brothers,
met several new faces and a few friends and aquaintances and saw some pretty good action too.

I saw the truck with the blower at GOODGUYS Pleasanton a few years back. A young guy had it. He drove it (from Washington?) there with the blower. A bearing in the blower went bad on the way there, he removed the belt, and kept on driving. That was before "RATRODS" were the in thing. Dean

walt, i saw BAD KARMA make a couple of passes, they were in the 13/14 second area, while the engine sounded fantastic, it didnt sound like the clutch was hooking up at all.

my favorite altered, launched the car, front wheels up headed hard left for the gaurdrail, had to get completely out of the gas, straightened it out got back into the go pedal and made a mid 8 second pass, small block injected on alcohol

Kustombuilder.........I about fell outa my chair when I saw that photo....I've been hoping to find one of those for many years... it's a 35-36 Hupmobile coupe. The sedans were rare enough but the coupes are like hens teeth.
Gotta buddy with a creme colored sedan...has a straight 8 in it. I'd love to find a coupe like that one..

Had a GREAT time there Myself! cool pics. Met 60s style and saw some more Hambers. That 34 Hupmobile belongs to a Dentist! Long Black hair and tatoos all over, Very cool guy. Got His card Hes gonna do some grinding on My teeth.
Best thing of all He is a FE Ford guy. Me and FEDSLED may do a 428 for Him for the Hup! Its got a SBC in it now VERY COOL CAR!! Jerrys cool old sedan with the spped shop logo on the spare tire cover has an early Cad in it with 2x4 barrell wfcb carters on top. Cant remember if its a stick or auto. (Drank way to many beers) You need to see the car in person its very very cool!! OLDBEETS Merc went 15.50s
and K MEMBERS coupe was doin 13.50s. Marshalls shitbox 38 ran 12.50s or 40s.Im standing By him at the top of the staging lanes Hes got the door open the guy waves Him to pull up to make a run. So Marshall grabs His helmet slides it down over his face It turns ALL RED Hes yankin and pullin and twisting screamin Like with his nose plugged
I got the wrong helmet K Members got mine! Fuckin near tore His nose off And the tech guy still wavin His arms for him to pull up. I Fuckin near had a heart attack laughing so hard. You had to been there to see it. I was hopin to see 60s Style run his rig He said He wasnt ready yet.
Saw alot of people We have raced with throught the years. I had to explain about 30 times why our cars werent there.
KINSLER never got My Hilborn injectors to Me Now its NEXT WEEK Ive been hearing that for the last 3 weeks! This is the first time Me and FEDSLED havent had a car racin at this since about 1992! That sucks but We had a great time and drank lotsa beer.---FEDER

Yeah Bad-Karma was running great but the clutch just couldn't hold. I made some adjustments for the second round figuring we could at least pull off a 12 but I missed the call. Probably all for the best cause I glazed the hell out of it. Well mkae some changes and run out here in a few weeks. Let you all know how it goes.
