...complete except for axles/suspension,...the doors, fenders, deck lid, all beautiful, but, it's gonna need some floors, and a rocker panel...

...actually, it's gonna get either one of the Hemi's, or, one of my Olds motors...

So far, I only have $170 into it,...I traded a '55 Olds hood, a pair of early '60's T-Bird bucket seats, a '57 Chevy gas tank, and an Edelbrock single 4 bbl SBC intake...the $170 is what I had into all those parts!

Oldsmoboogie power would be sweet...they're tied with Fords for my favorite hot rod motors!

Heyyyyy nowww...!!!

I'M going to put an Olds Rocket engine in MY '38 Deluxe coupe..!!!
you can't do it now, or you'll be copying me...!! Hahahaha..!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
(Actually, since we don't live very close, I guess it's ok afterall....)

You got a pretty good deal on yours though..!!
I truly love the body shape on those year cars...('37-'41 or so)

here's a shot of mine... it runs, is 98% complete, and 100% stock....
Planning on making it just a cool, simple, and low kustom cruiser,
fender skirts, Appletons, '38 Desoto bumpers, not chopped,
but with a bit of 'Rocket' power under the hood for fun...!!!
One of these days.... one of these days......

I've acquired alot of photos, links etc., so if you have any questions,
just email or PM me, and I might have an answer for you...

Later, Snacks....

Any interest in selling it (for profit, of course). I need a body for my '37 flatty chassis (complete). I bought it last summer. This guy drove it everywhere and decided to yank the body and put it on a TCI frame.

I'm quite serious on this.

Ryan, when I first started checkin' out Jalopy Journal aloooooong time ago, I thought "Project 38" was one of the bitchin'-est cars I had seen, now I gots one!

Chad, thanks for the offer, but, I think I'm gonna hold on to it,...for awhile at least!
