I've got a pretty good source where I can come up with various GM carburetors.

My question is, which ones should I seek out for a future three deuce setup?

Obviously, these things can vary from in the 50s all the way up to at least the late 70s. Are some of them more appropriate for multi-carb configuration?

kinda depends on the manifold,if the carbs are pretty close together you want the side fuel inlet ones,if they're spread out a little you can use the front inlet ones with elbow fittings.if it's an original pontiac tri-power you need the big style 2 bbls for the ends and the small for the primary, otherwise all 3 are the small type.maybe somebody lese knows some part numbers, but i wander through the junkyard until i see the ones that look right, usually small GM V-8's from the late sixties/early seventies-george
