Howdy folks, changing from the old carter 2 barrell 4 bolt to the 3 bolt Holley 94. My question this time is the linkage, the throttle on the old carb pulled towards the firewall to open up the throttle via the drivers side linkage. I put the Holley on there and realize that the linkage pushes away from the fireway when the linkage is on the same side that it was with the Carter. Solution maybe to just switch the carb the other way, but then how would I run the linkage ? Is there any way to run it the way it is on there now with some sort of throttle cable or linkage of some sort ? Help me out here folks im not the brightest bulb in the bunch. Here are some pics to help out...

I think those are intended to have the bowl toward the front of the car. I don't know if it really matters, but if your linkage will work that way, give it a shot.

Make a pivot point in front of the carb?

I'm with deyo. The fuel bowl should be at the front so you dont get fuel starvation under acceleration.

If you turn the carb around why can't you make another rod from that pivot thingto the other side of the carb. you'd probrobaly have to put a jog in it but I think it would work. then again I'm not there to see if there are any interference issues but I think it should work.
