Hi guys,My name is Bob and I live in extreme northern Arizona,I stubbled onto the site and it sounds like a place I belong. I am currently building a 47 lincoln zephyr sedan lead sled. So far I have chopped 4 inches out of the windshield and 6 1/2 out of the C pillar,it almost done.It will have a 429/C6 from a 73 Tbird,9inch with disc on the rear. The front I plan on keeping the I beam with disc brakes. My wife is going to do the interior, she's very supportive of all my hobbies. Some of the other stuff I have going is a WW2 white halftrack that I'm slowly gathering parts for.I have 4 daughters the oldest will be 5 soon, she has picked from the collection a 53 ford Tudor for her car it will have a 292 with tripps and a 3 speed OD,she wants it painted pink with purple flames(her choices). My 4 year old picked a 52 ford pu the other 2 haven't yet but I'm saving some goodies for them. I'll add some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it.I've enjoyed reading your postings.Bob.

Welcome to the board. It's too cool that your kids are already picking out their old iron to build, just keep them on the right path. Post some pics of the '47 Lincoln, sounds like a cool project.

Welcome, do you ever make it down to Phoenix? There is a cruise on Friday nights in Gilbert and some of the people usually bring some old WWII stuff, they had a German Armored Personnel Carrier there a few weeks ago. Last week they had some little helicopter, they all look the same to me, but it was about 1/3 the size of a Huey.
Anyway, Good luck on that Y block, keep it breathing.
