Hello fellow gearheads, let me introduce myself properly;
I'm a Dutch guy born in 1960, so I just missed the fifties and was too young in the sixties, but I'm catching up !
I am a gunsmith by trade, but started tinkering with bikes and cars at an early age.
I started my "career" as a second engineer with the famous dutch tugboatcompany Smit, learned how to fly when I was 17, and have all my driving licences including those needed for Heavy transport and heavy wrecking.
If its Big and Loud, I love it!
I am a true Gasoline and Gunpowder inbreed and way beyond professional help.
I have a stock '66 CJ5 with heavy duty springs for a daily driver which does wonders for my back, a twelve year old Nissan 'Yech' van as shophack (for things too big for the CJ) and a '44 Jimmy truckcab/French Flathead and 4speed tranny project in the barn.
I'll keep you posted.
