Im elroy and I have a hotrodding problem.

I am 37 years old and have had 70+ cars, trucks and jeeps. I just cant help it,They speak to me ,they need me .
My kids get bedtime stories from car craft and mustang monthly. I enjoy long walks in the junkyard and warm nights by the fire reading old shop manuals.I have tune up parts for my 63 I wont use because I dont want to tear the box. I swap out EFI for a crossram and holleys because its the right thing to do! I buy wheels at swap meets that dont fit my cars ,just in case.
I KNOW HOW TO SET POINTS and I KNOW WHAT THE CHOKE DOES!!!!!

The condition that your are describing is gearheadious. There is no
known cure for it either, but there are support groups. We support you 100% there buddy. LOL.

That's the best i've heard it explained in years..:D

I also have these problems and a garage full of parts i'm going to someday put on a car.. And yes, i to know how to set points and a stove choke,, LOL
