I'm reading, nay, devouring, Larry Davis' new book Gasser Wars. This my friends is an excellent overview of an era I wished I could've witnessed with my own two eyes, and the $40 price is well worth it for a mere taste.
Anyway on page 43 I read about the different sanctioning bodies that existed in competition to the almighty NHRA. It turns out that one such body was named NADS which stands for the National Asscociation of Drag Strip owners.
This just made me smile, that's all.
