Yea - the Hamber is me.. I was wondering if anyone here in Michigan does transmission work on the side? This is slightly O/T because it's for my daily, my Grand Wagoneer, has a 727 Torqueflite in it.. Anyway.. if anyone knows of good places (cheap? ugh.. ) or does this work on the side for cash.. please let me know..

I know a local dude (Detroit area) who does excellent trans repair and rebuilding out of his garage, but he likes to have the tranny pulled from the vehicle and brought to him.
He lives a few blocks from me...had him rebuild a couple for me and they worked flawlessly!
PM me if you're interested and I'll see if I can get ahold of him for ya!

Thanks Hack.. I don't think I wanna pull it myself, I guess I could though in a pinch. Let me know his info, can you email it to me? I'll PM you as well.
Thanks!

Yeah Tiny, pull it if you can. I know that at least here in Flint, the R&R labor cost more than the total rebuild! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
