I know I saw this somewhere but what have you used to fill the top of your Model A tudor? I think it was a mid 80's Malibu wagon top which seemed to work well.

Any other suggestions and pictures would be great!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks

I used a Corvair Van......yep a Corvair van. I didn't even know they made em but it is the perfect fit. It's in the Fly.

I think a mid 80's GM wagon will work but it is ribbed...for her pleasure. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Mid 80's Malibu wagon has 5 ribs.
On one end,the ends of the ribs are even,on the other end they are staggered.(longer in the middle)

Later model Volvo Wagons are smooth, come with optional moon roof.

I just used 20ga. steel, cause I didn.t want the ribbed look, and it only cost me $12,I am a cheap bastard. I plan on covering it with a Tuck and rolled insert.(soft ribs)?

I like the flat look even if mine is just open !!!

just about any 70s-80sroof with a low crown should fit the bill. look around that scrap yard of yers and find somethin you think will look right. certain roofs with the ribs look cool if your gonna paint the roof rather than cover it with cloth...

62 - 64 full size chevy wagon roofs work very well...

I've been told that the Chevy Astro van works very well.
I'm going to look into it for a "A" sedan.
