G'Day
I just sold my turbo xr6 Falcon & got a Ranger 4x4 to suit the family. I know I took 1 for the team.

I have an Austin A40 that is going on Suzuki Sierra running gear in the shed at the moment an think this will turn out a good looking project.

However I am considering building a hambster with a mate of mine.
We think we might use a VC Valiant or earlier for a donor car and use as much as possible out of this to keep costs down as this wil be a real fun/budget toy for us . Any knowledge in this area shared would be appreciated

Thanks Hanno

I saw a guy here in Australia where he mounted a Austin A40 Somerset body on a 4X4 Diahatsu chassis and used the Diahatsu running gear.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ditch the shitzuki crap, box the chassis, drop in a V8, if you have to have newer suspension early an Torana front end is the right width (I have one Im not going to use....)
Welcome to the HAMB.

1. You're in Australia? Where? It helps people help you if we know - Australia is a big place.

2. Have you been to the Aussie Hambster Homepage? All the regs are there. I think you'll find the VC Valiant engine too late model. There is also a HA/GR specific area on this site just for you with lots of info exchange.

3. Welcome.
