An Enraged Tikki God! Very good execution. You have skill's. Nice line's, even thickness and centered work. Post anytime, this is cool stuff.

Are you handcuffing yourself by working so small? Practice on something larger and get your technique and line consistency down.
It's looking good though. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

yeah I guess so, I don't always work so small but I'm broke and just use what I have laying around to practice on. I prefer to practice on 8x10 lucite but at $2.00 a piece it gets pricey (especially since I keep giving everything away http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif) plus I kind of want to make myself one of those kats that can pull hair line. This piece of shit was painted on piece of plastic I had at work. It was clear so I rattle can'd some orange on it then faded the blue around the edges ( I thought it gave it a glow effect that really didn't come through in the picture) then I layed the blue lines and then the white. I need to get more serious with my painting and purchase more paint, a paint wheel, some stabillo pencils and etc. but no cash flow + can't get anything local in one'ies two'ies = work with what you got.
Also I have no natural talent for this so if colors don't work well together I need to know so thanks for that comment (see ealier reply). I need to know if my design sux so be brutal with me but give me ideas please. Any way all input will be taken with appreciation.

Journey? Wheel in the Sky? anyway cool stuff, to be brutally honest, line consistency needs a little work, but you only barely notice it. But...... the long and short of it is, that I would hang that on my wall, keep up the good work

Looks great so far! the thing with color combos is that you get better with experience. so dont worry.
keep 'em coming I'd like to see more.
oh and about the "working too small/no $$$ to buy good stuff" topic, try and find a place that sells "sign blanks".
both whiskey and I use 'em almost exclusively. they are usually aluminum and cost about $1.50 for an 8"x15" panel and they come pre painted with baked on enamel in a rainbow of colors. If there isnt a place in your town, I would be more than happy take an order and mail 'em to ya!
