what do you think??
--- would like to change my original drum brakes in front of my 34 plymouth to a BOLT ON DISC KIT from MP-Brakes. - my problem is - I have to send my original spindles to them and they will bolt the disk brakes onto them - then they will send them back ready to bolt on --- sounds good but I've to send the spindles from europe to that company - --- any experience with that guys??
will have a great problem if they wouldn't send them back or they get "lost"

MP does good work, they are quite reputeable. But I find their prices a bit high. If they are requiring you send the spindles there must be some sort of machining going on...

Yep, they gotta do some machining.

And I'll agree that their prices are high, but sometimes they are the only player in town for stuff like this. And their quality is very good...

I'd put some kind of insurance on the shipment, both ways...especially since it's international. Or you might be able to score another set of spindles in the US and have MPB do their thing on the "spares". Might be cheeper that way?

Check in the Sept. issue of R&C. On page 74 there is an article about updating 37-54 Mopars with a kit from PLY-DO.
The spindles did not have to be sent off and the rotors and calipers were from common OE stock, so parts should be easy and cheap to come by in Resume Speed Iowa. The article went into the master cyliner swap a bit too. Looked pretty basic to me. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
