I bought this hot wheels for my daughter. I like the angled channel job. Lower in the front. Has anyone seen one done like this? Any pictures? I was going to chop my sedan 5" with no channel.

Some HAMBer in europe put this funky truck together, lemme see if I can link the photo...

Yeah, that's it - he pie cut the frame just ahead of the firewall, and did a raked channel. I think this would be a hoot as a RPU, also.

My oldest kid, Fraz, bought some old 60's magazines, and one of them has a angle-channeled truck in it that he's wanting to build now. I'll remind him to scan it and post it.

Anyway.

I think I would get tired while driving that truck from constantly pushing myself back. It has to feel like you're gunna fall out of the front of the seat on that thing.

Its sort of the same effect as slamchop's blue tub/bucket.

4 point seatbelts would help keep ya secured in yer seat with that pick-up http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think that is a mean look on that pickup, I like it. But it would be weird to drive without a seatbelt. I thought maybe you could just change the angle of the seat, but that might look a little odd.

I've always wanted to do a 'broken' rake on a tudor---just like a cartoon car!
