i need to get a tranny rebuilt. just don't want to get screwed over on it. i don't have the tranny yet but TH350 are a dime a dozen. i just want to have everything in order first. i could buy the rebuild kit but i wouldn't know what the heck i was doing.

also what about the stall converters. i'm running a stock 350 motor. its going to be my daily and i want to be able drive out of my zip code. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif should i be running a stock converter? TCI has one that they call the "saturday night special". which has 300-500 stall over the stock one.

what do you guys think? oh its going in a 54 chevy.
