Hey guys,
been looking at a few engines for my project and a friend offered up a 1964 Buick 300 for cheap. I was wondering what kind of trans could be bolted up to these engines and what kind of performance can you get out of them and or shortcommings they may have.
Thanks alot in advance,
Mike

Umm, what was I going to say? I was distracted by Pete's avatar............
Actually bringing back on the subject, the 300 engines (and the 215 and 340 varieties) use the standard B-O-P bellhousing pattern, so you can use any Turbo 350 or manual trans bellhousing.
Now back to Pete's avatar http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

One of the years, I think '64 or '65, had aluminum heads on the 300. Intakes are differant then for cast iron heads.
