I've been wanting to do this piece for awhile now and here it finally is:)
It's 9" x 32" , the medium is acrylics and spray paint on wood.
I'm gonna build a boxed frame behind it next.
I call this one ... "The topper."

I've been incorporating more graphics in my work.
The first one is based on my sticker design that I posted last week.
Hope you dig em.

This week I've got an update on on I posted last Friday. This is an 11 sec. road burner built and raced by the father of fellow HAMBer Tom Hand. The following are the main steps through the process of the drawing. The drawing is truly mixed media using the following materials: Prismacolor pencil and marker, india ink, graphite and gouache on paper and adhered to foam-core.
(I also think this should qualify as my entry for the art challenge as these road cruisers were my primary form of transportation from birth through my college days.)
STEP 1:

I thought I would add this here as it is art of the two wheeled variety. I call the bike "Elvis" after the HD he rode in the movie "Clambake". The bike itself is made up of many different manufacturers and spans 40 years of bicycle production. Indian, Columbia, Monark, Evans, Stewart Warner and Western Flyer are all major contributors to this project. Enjoy the pics!

Future COE
I always thought the COEs looked like Pugs!
Bulgy eyed, squat monsters that are sort of repulsive, yet adorable.
Here's my version of the Pug
pushed into a future where hot rods still need hauled to the flats
and spray salt in their wakes.
Long live the COEs. Long live the hot rods!
(This is what I did for art challenge #3)

HIDDEN (I'm into halftones lately, too... it's all Coop's fault! ...'least on my end)
I look at halftones all day, every day, just on a smaller scale. I had done that piece a few weeks ago and Coop's piece from last week (which is awesome BTW) made me dig it up and post it. I went w/ something different and went with the 105 degree cyan pattern.

Here are a couple pieces I did this summer. Both were on display at Sinclairs Lowbrow HighOctane II show, along with a bunch of my stripin'.
One eyed stripin' monster is one shot on a chrome hubcap.
The Flyin' eyeball is Oneshot, centra board, rusty log chain and an old rusty hubcap. And that thing has a five and a half foot wingspan.

Here's that '37 Chevy coupe I mentioned last week. I finished it last Saturday but decided to wait till this week to post. Its 1-Shot on an old metal tray I picked up at the swap meet. The chain is used to hang it up. Panel swap for Luckystrike on the Sketchkult forum.

I feel like real DUMBASS right now. I truly did know that it's a '40. I really don't know why I have been calling it a '37 this whole time! Thanks for clearing it up for me.
That '40 coupe is so badass.

Who knew Pee Wee Herman was a HAMBer? Cool bike!

Some really cool stuff this week.
I really dig Flying Pollock's rod. It simply rocks.
<O:pAwesome graphics by Whitewidewalls, Hidden and Dtroit Dinosaur too. Those spark plugs are sweet.<O:p</O:p

So here's one I recently finished for a client. He's a food photographer and for his website he wanted a street with many different restaurants to show different kinds of food. Each one has a specific animation/lighting. Now the web designer is working his magic to turn it into a cool flash website. <O:p</O:p
The final piece is huge (more than 3 times the size you see here) since the visitors will be able to zoom in a lot.
I'll let you guys know when it's up and running!
