Not Older, but better because I ditched the Boat Anchor 352 and put a SBC in its place...

Even put a Chevy Scoop on it to really piss off the Ford "Hardcores".

I'm going to try running the stock box on mine.

Alright, I know you've seen it before, but here it is again - my 33 B cut-down 4-dr sedan conversion. Currently with a Rover V8 & 5spd, but future plans call for a healthy flathead and stacks and a lower stance - maybe even a quickchange!

Can I have it?

I'm building a 28-29 with a similar stance...except maybe a little more hacked up and bigger POS! I'd love to post a pic but it is in my head!

by the way I know it is not rodded yet but it will be as time and money allows, First I need to find someone to build me a chassis.

Tony
02-09-2004, 08:42 PM
24tratrod,
What ya need to find is someone willing to help YOU build your own chassis. There's LOTS of talented guy's down by you.
It's cheeper, and when your done, not only did you learn something, you have the satisfaction of saying "i built it".
It may not be easy for ya, but nothing worth while is http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Then, you can take build up pics and post 'em for us to see your progress!!!

Marq, thanks.

J Man

PakRat32

I know how to build the chassis, I am not confident with my welding skills to do a frame. I need a chassis built for that one and I also need a T bucket style chassis built for the '24 TT. The only thing I am not sure about is what kind of front crossmember to use on the '25. I want to make it a retrostyle truck with a few modern additions.

Hey Marcus, your '60 is bad as hell! Do you happen to know of a long fleet that vintage for sale? Or just a bed? We've been looking for a good bed for awhile now. We're in the south bay too.

HeavyChevy, your AD is just awesome! I've been wondering how to make mine look real cool and you've nailed it.

Keep it up guys, these are some seriously awesome trucks. I'll post pics of my '40 as it gets going, but I have to figure out how to crop pics as my files are too large to post.
