About three times today I went to reply to a thread, only to find it missing when I press the submit button. It seems they keep getting deleted. What's up?

It's tech week and like this thread, O/T post will get deleted and old O/T posts will get locked. This post BTW belongs in the questions and suggestions about this forum section, not the main board.

I'm having the same problem.

After logging in, the site gives only a few number of minutes for ya' to do your thing and drops ya' like a hot 'tater. Must be a timed out feature.

How do we cure it????????????

Nope, that isn't the problem.

It must be a "run time out feature".

As a matter a fact, I'm typin' quick so this thing doesn't bounce me outa' here before I'm done.

Oh yeah, you are still here, but not as a member. Ya' loose what ya' wrote and even constantly hitting the refresh button doesn't help.

What's changed and how can I correct it?

Denise hit the problem the original poster had on the head.

Your problem is different. When you sign in, are you clicking the remember me button?

I see you have Charter. If they suck up there as bad as they do in my area that is most likely the problem.

I made sure to hit the remember me button this time. We'll see what happens.

I installed a new computer this week, maybe it has something to do with the settings on it, but I don't think so. I've looked at every feature and gadget and can't find anything that controls a "timed out" feature.

I'm using Internet Explorer right now. I may switch to FireFox to see what happens if the issue continues.

Thanks for the advice.

Your suggestion seems to have worked.

I'm not having that "time out" problem today.

Lesson learned.

Thanks.
