Earlier last week my pal george, called me up and asked if I would like to ride over to a wooden car / wooden boat show in toms river, NJ today..

With all the drama surrounding my motor swap on Friday I figured I could use a day away from the swap so I tagged along..

If you haven’t ever ridden in a woodie let me say it’s a unique experience. Here we are at 6:00 am ready to kick off in george’s 48 plymouth woodie (note that the one part of the restoration that remains for george is to recover the top in the correct material..however I must say it was really cool running around with wood slats over my head all day...

now up until today i wasnt ever really that hot on boats... but this got me goin...1941 chriscraft..
