Stock 61 or 62 Chrysler speedo and guages. Hard to believe, but Chryslers came with those above the steering colum from the factory.

how about the olds disc speedometer a meter wheel turned and by the time you stared at it long enough to see your speed ,you usually ran off the road

The Gene Gross 46 Ford convertible that took so long to complete has one of those in it. That, I think was the first one. It showed up at SEMA back about 5 or 6 years ago. It also was on the cover of Rodders Journal. For those that don't remember that car, a little memory jogger. It had front fender skirts that moved out to alow the wheels to clear when turning a corner.
