I bought this '66 Buick Wildcat from a friends storage yard for $75! The guy stopped paying for the storage and he just wanted it gone. Damn thing is heavy as hell. It will be a while until I get to it, but if you need anything, let me know. I'm gonna ebay every leftover piece to help finance "The worlds most beat '32 roadster" project http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Gotta get the garage finished first.
Almost as good as free!! The Nailhead will he sweet...

Look for a tag and see if it is a posi. If so I could use the third member if you don't use it.

Good score, and since it's a 66,you got the TH400 instead of a shit dynaflow. Can't have too many nailheads.
I guess the Buick itself is in worse shape than it looks in the pic and that's why you aren't making a righteous cruiser out of it?
Good find...
Why just the engine though?

Dr J, the car is actually BETTER than it looks, just not my thing at all...and no title.I'm using whatever I can, engine, trans, front drums (maybe). Fraz and the others, it will be a few weeks before I can get to stripping this thing. I will let you know when I do.
Cool man.
I think that nailhead's gonna be right on in that roadster!

You REALLY, REALLY SUCK!!!
I've been trying to get this running 66 Buick with rusted- out rear quarters for over a year. The 425 Nailhead needs a water pump and maybe a rebuild, and the owner is talking $900 --- maybe. "Maybe," because she can't decide whether she really wants to sell it. I only want the drive train, and $900 bucks is what, about 12 times what you paid for yours? You really Do SUCK!

........yea right! Your brother was "humping block" while YOU were acting as tour guide for Casa de Garland. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Thanks for the tour Larry. Erin is still in shock. She said, "That is THE coolest house I have ever been in!" I agree.
Wandered around and found the SoWhat Speed Shop. Nobody home but the Ford wagon..........
