Jetting up the Y block tripower

Sorted out the ignition problem. Installed an Edelbrock 553 with 2100's aboard... end ones blocked til I sort the center carb. Seems to be hurting for fuel. Do I up my 51 jets to 58's? This was the recipe from a hotrod article in '58. Suggestions? thanks. himmelberg

Whats the rest of the article say? I imagine once you get the outer ones unblocked you'll be OK.

I have the outer carbs power valves blocked, the center one has a 5.5 power valve, my jets are 58's, and am running straight linkage on my 312. It runs great above idle, at idle it tends to load up if you sit very long. Unblock your outer carbs and try running all three, it most likely will clear up the problem.
