View Full Version : IM BACK! after a month gone from HAMB

Yep, finally i got a new Computer. My old one, had the blaster bug but something got totaly wrong and it needed a new harddrive. So i took it to best buys to see what else was wrong , and of course they messed it up even more. some jerk droped the Tower and something cracked, they wanted 600 for damages , so i just bought a new one. This one's got 80 gig, new video card , flat screen monitor.etc... I dont mind the wait, but just that i lost over 4000 pictures of hot rods, and cool stuff..... I even lost my own project pictures of my sled... man i must had over 1000 pictures of my choped 41.....Good news is that the 41 is freshly painted and all smooth.. We found some nice N.O.S fenders but the passenger side is missing the bottom section so its up to tomarrow at Carlisle.

THEY dropped it and want to charge you for THEIR screwup? What a crock. If I did that, I'd be out of business in a heartbeat.

yea, they have it printed on the contract. I was pissed off too, i wanted to know why. after talking to the manager and calling Best buys customer service it turns out that once you sign the copy , they can do anything to it, and you have no word if it gets to court. oh well, its all good now.

mate, the hard disk in your old computer might still be okay (maybe the motherboard is what broke in the drop), and if so you should just be able to plug it in and get your piccies back.
if you don't know how to do it, ask a nerdy friend!
