Gday Guys
Im setting up my repro A chassis and Im fitting the spring up inside the front c memmber - pretty sloppy! The spring fills up around half the space inside the crossmember at the centre and so when the uboplt and plate are in place there's space inside. The cmember's a repro A and is 2"deep at the centre. The multi leaf spring is 1.5 " in the middle. Do I put a 1/2" spacer in there to take up the slack? Dumb question but I'm working in a vacuum here.

Thanks

Steve

Sure! If you put the spacer on the top it raise the car a bit so put it on the bottom.Make sure you drill it and put your centerbolt through everything.

Well , I tried to give you some answers the last time you posted , but you probably never read it ? I took for granted that you was askin`about with , rather than height , soo sorry about that. How many leafs do your front spring have ? 7 is aprox 2" .
