A fellow H.A.M.B.er just drove off in my '32. I hated to sell, but I'm trying to change jobs, and pay off some bills. And cash was at hand. I will miss that car more than any other. I bid farewell to it.

I know, there's nothing I can say, that will ever ease your pain.
Just don't go and do anything self-destructive.
Dial 1-800-GET-HELP
There are people out there who can treat you...
to a baseball bat up-side the head for sellin' your rod.
Must be a pretty sweet job.
Are you sure there isn't some pussy involved in this?

Hey, I remember that car from Des Moines GG's...I commented that it had a nice SBC!!!
Sooner or later, they all go away...now go find something else to build!

Trailered- Are you talking changing shops or professions? I've sort of been wondering about a change also.

Changing professions! I'm currently trying to get on with the Jeff City police dept, or Hwy patrol. I need stability.

Know what you mean. I just sold my 50 Olds and a 42 Ford military jeep on e-bay, both were future projects. Jeep leaving on a trailer didnt hurt. As guy drove off with rusty Olds on trailer mymind flashed to the pale yellow I was going to paint it, in my mind I saw the finished car.
No drugs, I'm just a goofy fucker.

You think you have trouble getting time off now? How do you think getting a non-Union Job is going to solve that?
The Police Departments are always complaining that they don't have enough Manpower, they aren't going to like all the time off for Car Shows any better than anybody else...

Just a wanted to tell you I saw your car several times this year at shows ect., nice car, dont know you ,but I can relate to how you feel. I parted company with a 32 five window, that had a great history, built in the 60s-392 chrysler hemi-a piece of history.I always hate to sell any car I have the least bit of compassion for, but have done it many times, for many different reasons. The down side is that all you get in return for your love and hard work is cash-moola-buckareenes-ect. this feels great for about a day or two, until who ever you owe or bla bla bla gets most of it.Then you realize, Im without a ride!Well guess what!-it aint the end of the world, cars are everywhere, and there are plenty for sale anyday of the week, so save a little of that cash and at least get a start for your next love, dont be in a big hurry, shop around, its a buyers market-choose wisely.Do it on a budget,so,s ya can keep this one and keep it lo key and do something you like.A guys gotta have something to look forward to, the pains of everyday problems will wear you down if you dont, do something for yourself. So get that blood pumpin and start lookin for your next ride.Good luck!
