My buddy John has a 1956 F-100 with a 292 Y-block...
nothing fancy or overly built-up, basically stock...
He does however live in the high desert of Southern CA...

Who would you recommend to get a brand new radiator from..?
what size would he ideally want,
and what approx. price should he expect..??

Thanks for any input and/or recommendations..!! -Snacks...

Mid fifty F-100's will hook him up with a good one. Cost will be about $350 -$400, and they are great quality, I've bought several. 1(800)252-1956

some places to call or look up would be;
C&G old ford parts in San Diego
Bob's f-100's
or So Cal trucks.

Best and cheapest route to go would be an actual radiator shop. He could get away with a 2 core. Does he have the old one. They can re-core them, then everything still fits and the plumming will be in the right location http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I second the recomendation for U.S Radiator (323) 826-0969 www.usradiator.com. (http://www.usradiator.com.) I've had one in my 1948 F-1 with a 425 ci Caddy for 4 years now and have been very pleased with it.
