Like so many here, I've been playing with cars since I was old enough to do more than hold wrenches. I'm a retired management consultant -- had the privilege of working for Peter Drucker for 27 years. My wife and I own 4 Cougars, including Cougar #1, that is serial number 1, the first production Cougar. I'm building a '34 Tudor sedan for Elaine, while I continue to improve (are they ever 'done'?) my deuce coupe. Elaine has a '00 Saleen which she enjoys, while I'm relegated to a 4 runner and an F-350 for my non-car-related driving chores. I am very interested in the history of cars, what I refer to as "carkeyeology". We are long-time members of the Cascade Cougar Club and the Thursday Night Garage Association (a loose amalgamation of cars guys who just get together on a regular basis to talk cars, etc.) I'm looking forward to this forum to add to my knowledge and appreciation of the cars we love.

Welcome Jim.

I am a friend of Chris Farmer, I have been threatening to grab him and come up and look at your '32.

Cheers,

Rolf

Hi Jim, tell me more about the Thursday Night Garage Assoc. Sounds like a great career, Peter Drucker was way ahead of his time.
