Considering standard Fedex costs a fortune to ship there, I don't even want to begin to imagine.... Why the heck is hawaii so damn expensive anyway... Palm trees are great and all but cmonnnnnnn. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've seen a couple pretty ragged 80's cars rolling around the bay area with Hawaii plates, so it shouldn't be that expensive. If it were, I'd think it would have been cheaper for those people to have sold their cars there and bought another on the mainland.

My sister's family moved to Kauai for the summer- They spent $1000 to get their van shipped over there- And thats one of the cheapest going these days...

Gee Tim, I don't think I could have figured this out without that picture of Mayor McCheese getting arrested.

I'm here to help. 1000 bucks seems reasonable though.

WTF?

Mayor McCheese always seemed like a stand-up guy. It's a real shame to see him dragged away like that.

If you knew about the children...you wouldn't be defending him like that.

Is there an inside joke involving the honorable mayor, or is it more just a random thought?

Jeff, how's the '59 coming?

Most of MBL's thoughts are random... the others are, I think the scientific term is: dis-combobulated.

Check this link for an answer...

...this is for shipping to/from the west coast.

When I moved back to SoCal from Hawaii 19 years ago I shipped two cars back and they were about $7-800 each then.

You could always try this method:

Not for me.

I'm hunting a dude who skipped from Vegas to Hawii, and I'm trying to figure out how likely or unlikely it is that he shipped his car when he bailed.

I'm thinking probably not. Then I find out his ex is still in Vegas (insert gameshow "right answer" chime here).
