Is the Nitronic Research website officially dead? If you go to the site
www.nitronic.com (http://www.nitronic.com)
it looks like a tombstone inscription ... "Nitronic 1999-2003".
Anybody know what happened to the site and if it will be eventually resurrected?

From my dim memory...
He had a crash, lost a lot of the site and decided that it was time to do what he had been thinking of for a while. Fold up the tent and disapear into the the night.
Apparently it had turned into WORK instead of being FUN.

Four or five months ago there was a server crash and the site could not be retrieved, and the people that had been volunteering to run the site decided to spend their time with other things. They say that it's not coming back.
Those of us from Nitronic's "Header Flames" message board now go to a section on Dave Tuttle's California Chassis Engineering site called Nitroland, at http://www.dragsters.net/nitroland/

Dave, do you hit any of the cruise nights here in PHX? I'm curious how I haven't met you yet.

Deputy, it was a pleasant surprise to see that you've joined us here. I wish I was going to Bakersfiel this weekend. Hopefully next year.
Deyo, until one of my '32s is a runner I'm not able to get to the Pavillions on Saturday, but the Friday night cruise at 35th and Northern is just up the street from my shop, which is just south of Thomas and just east of 35th. I was there about three weeks ago and will be there tomorrow night.

Yeah, I just found the "replacement" site last night myself while searching for a Littlefield blower. The ads page is:
http://www.dragsters.net/nitroland/forsale/index.html
Unfortunately, it seems to still have some of the stupid bickering that helped kill Nitronic. Idiots. But hopefully they won't pull the plug.
Hands off the 6-71, I'm supposed to be getting it this weekend...

I'd like to be going too but I have to stay and help hold down the fort. The Sheriff, Jack Harris The Nitro Thunder FED and the bounty hunter Scott Mason The Sudden Impact FED are on their way and left me and Chad here to take care of things. If anybody's interested 1010TV will be braodcasting live all weekend on this site.

It costs 20 bucks but if ya can't make it that ain't a bad deal. Tune in it should be cool.

And here I thought that a "Cacklefest" was just a room filled with racers' ex-wives.

Anybody going to CHRR stop by the Nitro Thunder camp and
the Sudden Impact camp and say hi, The Deputy sent ya.
You'll get a real fine welcome, ya got my word on that.
God! I wish I could be there. BTTT. PS stop by the Iron Butterfly pit and tell Harry hi for me too. Harry and his son Jed have had this small block front engine dragster for at least 50 years ( joke ) 30 that I know of. Great folks and they will treat ya great.
