Pretty awesome truck.Umm.. I hate to sound ignorant again, but I know its an eraly 50's GMC, but what year is it?
Nice truck manze,i like the dents too.infact i have decided i'm gonna get rid of some of my dents and keep some and if it comes out looking like that i will be well happy.A lot of people on this site have told me to get rid of all the dents but i see it as part of a trucks working life and hate to do it.Some of my dents are a little rough to keep but some of them make me think"how the hell did that happen" so those are the ones i'm gonna keep and sod what everyone else thinks..................Marq

Man whoever painted those bullet holes did a fantastic job.
Looks good buddy, can't wait for the chopped and painted pics. Lotsa progress.

Yeah i tanked it and anothero ne out a field. I got them fora good price. The funny thing was when i got it i thought the truck was to far gone to even think of redoing. But i just did it and it all worked out. As of the year of the truck it is a 1949 GMC 1/2 ton.
It does have a lot of little dents here and there, but since its getting painted and chopped. Im having all the dents and dings fixed. Or atleast most of them. Thanks for all the kind words. This is my daily as of right now. But i dont know after the paint and everything. I now have a 1951 Chevy Panel truck, and a 1953 Chevy car. So we will see what happend to those.

Don't let paint keep you from driveing it. If you bought a new car you'd drive it right?
Enjoy the devil out of it, by the time the paint gets butched you'll either already have a handle on it and be ready for a change in color or you'll want something different and it can go to a new/different HAMBer.
