Hello to all,
I grew up in Southern California during the 60s which makes me naturally anti-billet. I had a couple of '40 Ford coupes one with a flathead and the other with a Pontiac in the day of 25 cent a gallon gas. I learned a lot about fixing '39 trannys and banjo rear axles as we "occasionally" engaged in a little street racing.
I now have the same '48 Chevy 2 door sedan which was our family car when I was young. My Dad bought it in 1950 as an OK used car then Brother had the car in high school and I got it from him in the mid 70s. I moderized it with Mustang front suspension a 350 Chevy with new paint and leather upholstery. I also have a '34 Ford five window with a 59A flathead. It is the car I have always wanted since high school. It is an old 70s restored car that has been well cared for and I am changing a few things like big & little tires, dropped axle and a few additions the the flatty.
Thanks for allowing me to join.
