“KINGSHIFT” Cad, LaSalle, Olds, Chevy, Ford, Mercury, Pontiac
We are the home of the famous "KINGSHIFT" floorshift unit for the early 3 Speed Standard Transmissions. Our shifter was the "KING" of all the shifters. The shifter arms were hand machined on a Bridgeport Milling Machine, hardened and cadmium plated. First is to the Left & forward and second was back and to the right, which took advantage of the force produced by the acceleration of the car giving you lightning fast spring loaded shifts just by slapping the handle into second. Third was straight up and out of the way. Due to our unique design you could adjust the length of the handle and bend it cold to your choice and even remove the handle when you parked your car or at the Drive In Movie Theatre.
