Axle question

I doubt it will fit but someone might know. I found a cheap mor drop axle for a 1955 2cd seriers chevy truck. I have a 1949 Chevy 1st series. And i was wondering if it would work. I doubt it will but i figured someone might know.

Nope,its totally different.The 47-55s have really narrow frames.Spring oerches are totally different widths......Shiny
