Got my 32 chassis basically done but still need brake hoses for the 40 ford front brakes, which are stock except for the buick drums. Do other year rubber brake hoses interchange or will I have to order the repo 40 hoses?
Anybody know what the thread size is on the '40-48 front wheel cylinders?
Thanks!

the threads are 7/16-20...you can use any hose that will have the length and fittings on the ends. what size brake line are you using? 3/16 or 1/4? that will make a difference in what hose you select. i have used napa # 36814 ..it's 18" long ,one end is 7/16-20 to screw into the whell cylinder, and the other end is 1/4" inverted flair for 1/4" brake lines
