Just wanted to say Hi and thank all of the guys who threw me under the bus today for using inappropriate terminology on this site(rat rod). Lesson learned. Now can we start over? Great. I live in Plainwell, MI. North of Kalamazoo, south of Grand Rapids. Just finished building my first rod, a 1930 Model A Sedan. 3 inch chop, 4 inch dropped axle, 4 wheel disc brakes, 302 w/ 4 speed manual trans. I love it. Anyone live in the immediate area? I would love to meet locals who are into this stuff. Hope to hear from you soon. CTJ

There are actually quite a few guys in your area that are into the "traditional" style of build. Make sure you make it to the Grand Rapids Autorama in Jan. They are usually there in a group of about a dozen cars kinda in the middle of the show. If you "rat rod":D is running and driving contact AutoramaBob here on the HAMB and ask for a spot in the show near the rest of the traditional guys.
