:D Hello to all, I just received an email from a customure telling me about this site, thought I might check it out, now I am a member and hope maybe I might shed some light on a few mis conseptions I have read about blowers from a few posters. I will gladly respond to questions about blowers and how to set up engines to run blowers, I specialise in Blower conversions and will Help the wonna-get-blown Hot Rodders become more famillure with the pros and cons of Blower building. I have a ebaymotors store user name dean671blowers and sell conversion kits for 3-71 thrue 8v71 blowers. Yes you can now buy everything you need to run 8v71 and 6v71 and 92 series blowers from me. ok, now my history as a hot rodder goes back to the 70s, my first car was a 69 camaro, i was 15 and traded a honda 125 dirt bike for the car, 4 flat tires and dead battery, the car was in neah bay washington, we chained it out of the feild and around the corner to the local gas station where at 15 years old i filed the points, cleaned the plugs, charged the battery and fueled her up,the 307 started right up, and i learned to drive in that car on my way to port-angleswhere i parked it and took a bus to oregon where i lived with my aunt till i was 17 I never saw the camaro again untill 2005 at a car lot in rochester wa, had to be her, white interior, blue exterrior, A lot mchanic had her, rouched out streetracer, never restored. anyway sad story, little did i know that my life as a wrench twister would take me so far, i allways wanted to tweek and modify everything,I am a true gear head, no doubt, my idea of going to L>A was to meet the late Gene mooneyham, A true insperation to a up and comeing blower biulding. My currant stats: live in washington state, have 5 secluded acres with a 5000 sqt shop,my hot rod is a 69 rs/ss BBC Blown 468 soft rod motor, super t-10, 35 spline spool 12-bolt.built this car in mid 80s, rebuilt a few times since. my boat is a 72 sanger, had to be differant, bored a 366 tall deck to 396 bore, added 400 long rod and an 8v71 blower, what a torqe monster that turned out to be. So any ways, feel free to email about anything interesting or not, thanks for reading this and have good day.Rick Dean:)
