Yeah, it's my mates '29 A. We trailered it down from Teesside (Middlesbrough) co's it's a bitch to see out of on 400 mile round trips to the Drags. It was built by 'Stinger' who's '49 truck an' Gasser Deuce I've posted above. You got any history on the car?
Later, Koops.....

Nice coverage. Cool street ride's. And ft. engine digger's never fail to stir the yearning for the bygone era. Keep up the good work.

I remember when Stinger first built it, the talking point was how do you get in from the drivers side.......& he said "give it a try" i had to slide head first on my back under the steering wheel & up into the seat, really funny to watch.
I guess it has a smaller steering wheel now?? or does it.
No, but I miraculously succeeded in the driver's side entry challenge. It's still the same. Once in the seat you have to hunker right down to see through the screen. It's not going to win any prizes at an ergonomics convention that's for sure.
Good looking though.
Mart.

Yeah the Coup's still got the full size steerin' wheel an' yer hafta sorta limbo into the drivers seat, or simply use the passenger door! Cos Stinger's so small I guess he built it to suit, custom like http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif. Alan, the guy who now owns the rod, drives locally and has made a 150 mile treck down to Newark (Americana). It's a bugger to drive alright. Certainly ain't for the orthopedically challenged!
