Hello everybody, time to say hi to yet another n00b from CO. Actually, I've been lurking on the board for quite some time, and thought I had created an account on here a while back, but I guess not. So, here I am now. Officially. Don't throw a parade or anything, I'm kinda shy and easily embarrassed.

A bit of background about me, I was born in '76, am a veteran (Army - M.I.), live with my GF and our three kids (two are mine, one is hers) here in Centennial, CO.

I've moved around a lot [Michigan (twice), Illinois (twice), Minnesota, Nebraska, Florida (twice), Georgia (twice), Missouri, California (thrice), Arizona, Korea, Germany, and this is my second time in Colorado] partly from my childhood and partly from my service. I'm here for good now.

As for my automotive background, I've always been into cars, anything with an internal combustion engine really. I have been since I was a young kid, and I will be a car nut until I die. I personally dislike new and/or modern cars, and so am getting rid of everything that I own that is newer than 10 years old. My goal is to eventually own only cars that are older than I am.

My first car was a primer-gray '72 Buick Riviera GS with a 455 c.i. V8, no accessories and open pipes that exited just behind the rear tires.

Other favorites from my collection have included a modified Porsche 928 S (when I lived in Germany)...

...and a slammed spraybombed (by me in my driveway) '78 VW Rabbit Diesel called Satin Doll.

On the horizon, a slammed '68 Caddy is going to find its way into my garage, followed thereafter by a matching slammed dually to haul the family around in. Someday a '60 Caddy Sedan Deville Flat-top, '51 Hudson Hornet sedan and an old Deuce 5-window coupe are going to find their way into my home as well.

I'd imagine they'll all be black.

My automotive tastes run the gamut, and I don't really tend to discriminate against others if theirs are different. Above all, I love cars, others who love them are my family, and I'm just here to have fun and learn.
