Hey Hambers, need some help here, found a guy with a sedan delivery and it's just a body an rolling frame. No fenders grill or hood.. My question is were and what do I look for to see if this is a orignal ford built car/truck. It has the big single door in the rear but how were the panels put in and other goodies like that.
thanks continental

i am confused? are you questioning if the car is a 33 - 34? or are you wondering if its a stock piece and not a repop?

I trying to see if it was a stock sedan delivery. Not a modified sedan body

Stock 34 deliverys had a short side door the size of a 5 window coupe, and the rear end of the body was about 4 inches longer than a sedan. If it looks like that, and there's no welding marks inside, it's an original body.

Alchemy is right. This is a different animal than a 32 sedan delivery. Also the quarter windows should be considerably longer than a 33-34 sedan's. Hey John, I thought you were into 32's pretty heavy. Branching out?

Oh no, I love the 32 and also model A's. Them 33-34 are cool, but for 2500 bucks it's worth a look and see. I'm thinking it's a rare bird and would be fun to build, not a stylish as the other models. I just don't know much about them years and that style.. Found a few 33-34 in the past and passed on all of them. Not my cup of tea, they are super classie cars and have great lines. I guess I'm not classie enought for such a body style http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Too fricken greasey and dirty http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
